The first Christmas. Mary's story. One night in Bethlehem.
59The real "Wrong side of the tracks".
A new idea comes to fruition.
I recently got a good idea, one that I hope will give a little bit of entertainment to the people, and help to enhance my online profile at the same time. Very few ideas being purely altruistic, I am hoping for the latter result mainly from this one. The result of this sparking of intellectual acuity in my brain, was the decision to start doing readings from some of my stories on You Tube. I figured that people, who didn’t want to read, might very well watch instead.
Accordingly, I have posted a few on the famous video channel, and I hope to post a lot more on there, over the next few months. Most of them will find a home in the video section of the relevant hubs, where I hope they will receive lots of visits from the “Cinema Bizarre” members of our community.
As a taster of what is to come, and in honour of the season that we are just about to enter, I am taking the liberty of posting a reading of a story, first published around this time last year.
So without further ado, I give you.
The Blessed Virgin Mary, through the medium of the author christopheranton, relating her account of the extraordinary, and sometimes funny, events that accompanied the birth of her son Jesus Christ.
Happy Christmas all.
The Virgin Mary, but not as most know her.

Christopher, I as well, was brought up with Christmas, it is all around a person here in the states. Stores and ads for buying begin before the turkey gets in the oven and the last sack of candy from Halloween is opened. It seems to have become all about money. Being the last in the line I have no one to appease, so I scoff at it past your thoughts of friends and or relatives coming together for a day of good will and laughter ruling the day, now that would be admirable as days like that seem to be rare. In those thoughts, Merry Christmas! and good will to men [women too].
Blessings,
Dusty
What a clever idea, christopher. I do hope your vivid, vivacious video goes viral. And Merry Christmas and a happy, healthy New Year to you.

FOREVER FASCINATED BY ENGLISH SPEAKING FROM AFAR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Christopher, I didn't think to mention that but like Wesman, I find the accent and hearing a voice to put with a person is pretty cool, then there is your new avatar, cool hat!
Happy Hanukkah!

Us "old timers" catching up with "the moderns"! As we do, we shall beat them at their own game. Hip, hip!

Aye! Christopher, once again you have surprised me with an original style [to me] that I've not seen and as well gave it a good spin.
While I detest the Christmas of greed and bloody Fridays where people are trampled and sometimes killed in order to get a toy to give to a child on someone elses birthday. Lest I not forget the crap of flying rain deer and a fat bastard sliding down a chimney, eating 15 metric tons of cookies and drinking enough milk to drain thousands of cows. Then the Jews and others that do not recognize Christ but buy a tree and decorate it and add presents beneath, I see so many things that are frightful attached to the chosen date that is not correct and on to the point I cannot partake in the evil that comes forth around this invention. It need not be Christmas for folks to be generous to those in need, giving and good will is taught by the Bible to be done at every chance. Enough of my rattling on.
Great hub and video,
Peace and Blessings,
Dusty
